about us admittedly we have always had unnatural desires for modern design elements. we quickly learned that about one another in 1999 where we met in corporate america. we instantly developed a friendship. we shared an apartment to make ends meet and made it our own, by painting every square inch of the place while bonding to the hits of dolly parton. as graphic designers, we liked to keep it simple and clean. frustrated with our search for affordable, modern artwork to fill our place, we sought to take matters into our own hands. initially, we experimented with macaroni art, then the puffy paint phase. years went by, jobs came and went, and came and went...we moved on. eventually we became home owners just a few miles apart in dallas. we continued to struggle with bare walls. finally, in 2005 we took our modern, clean graphic approach and combined it with our passion for interior design, thus was born melt - modern elements living together.
